All detours and updates

On Wednesday 5^th November for 2 days there will be road works on Wilkin Street that will require the Temuka via Washdyke route to detour from its usual route.

Morning trips travelling towards Timaru will continue the normal route to Denmark St, turn left on Hayhurst St, right on Domain Ave, right on Studholme St, left on Alexandra St, right on Hamilton St, and left on Richard Pearse Dr to resume the normal route.

Afternoon trips travelling towards Temuka will continue the normal route to Richard Pearse Dr, turn right onto Hamilton St, left on Alexandra St, right on Studholme St, left on Domain Ave, left on Hayhurst St, and right on Denmark St to resume the normal route.

Several stops will be affected during this detour. Find out if your stop is affected by viewing the detour map.

From Wednesday 3rd September there will be road works on Ranui Ave that will require the T3 school service to detour from its usual route until further notice. 

Morning trips travelling Clockwise will follow the normal route along Selwyn St, continue on Selwyn St, take the first exit at the roundabout on to Grasmere St and turn right on to Evans St to resume the normal route.  

Afternoon trips travelling Anti-clockwise will follow the normal route along Evans St, turn left on to Grasmere St and take the third exit at the roundabout on to Selwyn St to resume the normal route.

Morning trips travelling Anti-clockwise will follow the normal route along Evans St, turn left on to Grasmere St and take the third exit at the roundabout on to Selwyn St to resume the normal route.  

Afternoon trips travelling Clockwise will not be impacted by these works.

Environment Canterbury’s Council have confirmed that The Link will run its last loop on 17 February 2023. With MyWay's ongoing success, so few people are using the Link that it is no longer sustainable as a service. Support will be offered to the remaining Link customers to switch to MyWay, Timaru's on-demand transport. Read more.
